Supporting genomic information sharing in families: a survey for clinicians
Genetic testing in an individual can reveal that their close relatives may have an increased risk of a particular condition, of which they may be unaware. In this survey, we are interested in your views around genomic information sharing and how you support your patients to share genomic information with their adult relatives.
We will use your responses to inform the development of digital tools and resources aimed to provide support around genomic information sharing.
The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and is in five parts:
Part 1:
You and your role.
Part 2:
Your current practices around genomic information sharing.
Part 3:
Guidelines and resources around genomic information sharing.
Part 4:
Your attitudes towards genomic information sharing.
Part 5:
Your ability to carry out genomic information sharing.
You will be asked to read a participant information sheet and give consent to take part before you begin. You will be offered the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 donation to your chosen charity.
